Turangawaewae - A place to stand.
"I am a strong learner when I know who I am, where I am from and what my place is in my world."
In Room 8 we talked about where we were born and where our family is from. It was fun learning about each other and sharing all about our families. We found out that some of us were born overseas and some of us speak a different language at home.
It is always interesting learning about each other. Maybe you could make a bar graph together to show who was born overseas and who was born in NZ or one showing all the different language you speak at home.
ReplyDeleteHow fantastic to see all of the countries that your families are from. I was born in England but I can see that none of your families are from there. You are really getting to know each other well Room 8.
